First grade is such a great year of growth and learning! Students become more independent, learn to be problem solvers, and so much more. Henderson Mill is STEM and STEAM certified which means that students work and take part in more fun, engaging and challenging activities. Important Information:
1. Daily Instruction begins at 7:00am -7:40am, class begings at 7:45am. Students are marked tardy after 7:45am.
2. Please sign your child's planner daily.
3. Your child should practice his/her math facts and math skills daily using XTRAMATH and IXL.
4. Homework is assigned Monday and is due Friday.
5. Student Couriers are sent home on Fridays.
